“A Candle for Saint Cloud!" Written by Steve Gerber. Art by Rico Rival. Writer Sainte-Cloud, an old girlfriend of Ted Sallis (Man-Thing), buys a Man-Thing inspired candle to inspire her writing.  What she doesn’t know is that the candle has been spiked by an unrequited love (Chuck) to cause her to hallucinate, so he can save her.  Unfortunately for everyone involved, the fear caused by the hallucinations attracts the Man-Thing, whose touch burns at the Man-Thing’s touch!
