Psylocke lays in critical condition and Caliban is defeated and left for dead by Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth, one of the most dangerous mutants alive. Wounded in battle with his mortal enemy Wolverine, Creed has been the prisoner of Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted for months, remaining compliant, even docile; but not anymore. His healing factor has righted everything and now he has escaped. The only thing standing in the way of this murderer and his freedom are the original X-Men.
