Thor #236 (1975)

 The Absorbing Man, using the strength of Mjolnir, manages to beat down Thor, who gets up, attacks the Absorbing Man again, then runs away!  Absorbing Man chases him into a department store, where the Absorbing Man grabs Thor's hammer, trying to absorb the rest of its power.  But when he punches Thor again, his arm collapses like cardboard, because it now is!  Thor tricked him by grabbing a toy Mjolnir.  The police put the Absorbing Man into a cardboard box, he literally can’t punch his way out of a paper bag! Cover pencils by Gil Kane, inks by Al Milgrom, script by Gerry Conway, pencils by John Buscema, inks by Joe Sinnott.
