"Target of the Toymen!", script by Cary Bates, pencils by Curt Swan, inks by Murphy Anderson. Clark Kent witnesses the shrinking of a 707 by a a criminal similar to the Toyman. This new Toyman escapes by using exploding bubble gum animals to threaten the town below, forcing Superman to abandon the chase to protect the residents. Within a few days, a nuclear submarine and a solar-powered train are also stolen and ransomed by this new Toyman.
"The Million-Dollar Methuselah Contract" starring the Human Target, script by Len Wein, art by Dick Giordano; Christopher Chance is hired by millionaire oilman Henderson Repp, who suspects his nephew is trying to kill him.
